Using only song names from ONE ARTIST, cleverly answer these questions. Pass it on to 15 people you like and include me. You can't use the band I used. Try not to repeat a song title. It's a lot harder than you think! Repost as "My life according to (band name)."

Discovering sticks go with knives

I was thinking,
that perhaps this strange feeling of indifference
these grey days
these restless nights
are all just signs of being bored with myself and my situations?

I am willing to commit changes now
and I've already started on the physics
tonite, chemistry will add colour to my hair

however, the great challenge lies
in regaining focus
I am so close to the win
all I lack is the spark

I will be able to ignite myself
I used to be so good at it.

Cigarettes and housework II

Nothing beats the scent of Grønnsåpe.
Nothing beats a clean appartment.
Nothing beats waking up in a clean and tidy appartment.

However, Plumbo has beaten my pipings,
and now I seriously ought to call a plumber
before I flood the whole building.

So, what's new?
I'm having a couple of work days, or nights that is, at Grensen.
The long hours are often weary, so I haven't been all that social this
period. I am however free as a bird on Thursday and Friday,
which will be good. Hopefully I will get my ass of the couch,
drag myself of to Uni, and write some amazing analyses for my

Uhm. Yeah.
I promise to make my life a bit more exciting in the weeks to come,
coz writing this, I realize that my last couple of days mainly have consisted
off work and housekeeping.

Weekend update

A weekend get away in the south of Norway was really something that I needed.
I had the most amazing time, and was so incredibly relaxed. Rarely have I breathed more easily.
Me, Mons, Maria, Kristjan, Kat & Kos along with Maren, Jan and Ilja went to Marens cabin by the ocean at Søgne.
Such an amazing place. The cabin was situated right by the sea, with an amazing view and a beautiful garden. Right below the garden was their own private pier with a boathouse, where we spent the days bathing, tanning and relaxing. In the evenings we barbequed in the garden, and played charades and stuff. Kat also made incredible Pelmenies, which were so good we all overate and almost died..

I will post pictures later today.

Now, Im back in Oslo.
Here is grey. urgh. and rain.
So today, I'm planning to work on my thesis
and make some necessary yet uncomfortable telephonecalls, so that atleast I won't have to think about them
when the weather blues kicks in.
Bringing loads of tea and my favourite teacup to ZEB just to make the day a little more bright.

Also having new re-found love for Siobhan Donaghy's "Ghosts"
Which is nice. Musical obsessions tends to inspire,
and here in grey, windy and all of a sudden super-rainy Oslo
Inspiration is needed.

My thoughts goes out to Maren and Julie.
Hope yer both doing fine.

every me and every you

watching cruel intentions for the first time in ages,
I got strangely nostalgic
oh. and rediscovered how much I like placebo.

evil surely is seductive.
gotta love sarah michelle gellar in that flick.
cruel defined.

Writing my thesis in english,
I am constantly learning new and strange words I 've never used on a daily basis.
I think I'll have to include a vocabulary part in the lj posts to come.

today's word:

When an abstraction (abstract belief or hypothetical construct) is treated as if it represented a concrete, real event or physical entity

I confuse myself.

and another one joins the Timbaland league

Ok, I do think Timbaland is a great producer.
I've always been a fan of his music, especially his eye for intricate rhythmical details.
However, lately (which really means the last 9 years or so), more and more artists hire Timbaland
to produce their music - sometimes to the extent that their own musical personae fades into
the overproduced RnB framework that defines Timbaland. He's involved in ridiculusly amounts of
the music on the market. And I actually find it kind of boring.
The Duran Duran collaboration was a total disaster.

- The last one to surrender is Chris Cornell. His whole new album, "Scream", is timbalandified,
and I'm not too pleased to be honest. What do you guys think?

Listen/Watch for yourself

akkurat hundre! haha. genialt
klarer dere slå meg?
